Rancho Tissue Technologies was purchased in 1995 by Heather May, Jerry Hunter’s daughter. The lab continues to supply Rancho Soledad with monthly shipments of new and unusual plants that are tissued exclusively for Rancho Soledad Nurseries. These new and exciting plants are often developed or collected by Jerry Hunter and Kelly Griffin and then put into tissue culture just for them. Rancho Soledad is one of the few nurseries in the world that has this unique relationship with a successful tissue laboratory. Rancho Soledad will always have new and unique tissue cultured plants for sale at the nursery.
