Socotra (Yemen)

We traveled to Yemen and then from there flew out to the Island of Socotra which lies some 500 miles south in the Red sea and is a territory of Yemen. On the mainland we found many fascinating plants including Aloe inermis from near the town of IBB. On the Island of Socotra the flora is truly other worldly. It has to be seen but I hope a few photos will suffice. The Adeniums are a trip!
